The name of the Aktossyil calendar is derived from the Lorkfanic god of Time. The Standard Surresi suffix -yil is then appended to the name of the god.
The Aktossyil calendar is subdivided into eight ygragłłe, or months. The eight ygragłłe are known as Wolzeygragł, Wolseygragł, Mulgeygragł, Mulzeygragł, Fiẉrygragł, Finygragł, Ibrygragł, and Wolgeygragł.
Weeks in the Aktossyil calendar are known as a'absskyye and are comprised of six days, or sulle, which are called: Ziẉtsul, Gahsul, Siẉdsul, Praansul, Kalgesul, and Kalzesul.
The Aktossyil calendar is also divided into three iẉtunaar, or seasons, which are known as Valiẉtunaar, Fafiẉtunaar, and Blewiẉtunaar. Valiẉtunaar is equivalent to late winter through late spring, Fafiẉtunaar is equivalent to early summer through early autumn, and Blewiẉtunaar is equivalent to late autumn through mid-winter.
