Christian, The King Emeritus (Born January 25, 1948 as Christian Henry Stephen Philipp William Augustus Miller, known as Christian I while King) is the King Emeritus of Superior, and formerly the 8th Monarch of Superior before his 2015 Abdication of Christian I in favor of his son, William II. He succeeded the throne in 1993, following the death of his brother Henry I. He continues to reside in the Northern Palace as a member of the Royal Family, and holds the titles King Emeritus of Superior and Duke of Welfburg.

Christian was never the heir apparent of Superior, and thus was never afforded the title Prince of Michigan. He was second-in-line to the throne, and was the second eldest son of William I and Queen Maria Christina. Born in Saint Anthony, Superior, Christian attended a Private School near the Palace in the city of Saint Anthony. His three times great-grandfather was the first King of Superior George I.

Following the death of his Brother, from a compromised immune system resulting from the AIDS virus, he ascended to the throne as Monarch. He married a native Superian Women not of Nobility, making it the first morganatic marriage of a monarch of Superior. They had three children together.
