Coilweed is a plant species prevalent on Turungak.
Description
Like its larger relative, the coil-cactus, coilweed grows out in the open within the hot deserts of Turungak, where water is scarce. But unlike its cousin, coilweed has no defensive spines. Instead, the plant stores most of its water and nutrients in the roots, leaving little for passing animals. As such, most creatures avoid eating the dry coilweed, ensuring the plant's survival.
