The name Heklinnkäcal is a fusion between the Vjotercalic words for "river," heklinnkä, and "land," cal.

The Heklinnkäcal is commonly described as the cradle of Vjotercalic civilization.
Geography and climate[edit | edit source]
The climate of the Heklinnkäcal is extremely harsh, wracked by storms which carry tephra on their winds as well as being home to an abnormally localized volcanic winter.
