The Surresi Peninsula is the prominent structure jutting into the water southwest of Surresia and holds the most fertile, populous lands by far within Surresia. When the Assai sailors of the Union of the Red Circle in the 56th century discovered it, it was assumed to be simply a large island until in 5526 Ʋ a group of Assai Kaijin colonist explorers set out on expedition to chart the north coast of the "island," only to discover a mountainous terrain and no sign of water to the north, east, or west, where they had once previously assumed to reside a sea.
